Philip A. McCaull
Philip and Pete Fahey co-founded an independent advisory firm affiliated with Commonwealth in August 2017. Prior to starting their own firm, Pete and Philip spent nearly 17 years working in partnership as financial advisors for A.G. Edwards, Wachovia Securities, and Wells Fargo Advisors.
Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Philip was a consultant with Cambridge Associates in Boston, providing investment consulting services primarily to college endowments and philanthropic foundations. Philip also has experience as a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting Group. Early in his career, Philip founded an award-winning nonprofit organization called “Hands On Memphis,” which provided direct, “hands-on” volunteer services to nonprofit organizations in his hometown.
Philip earned a BA at Dartmouth College and an MBA at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. Philip and his wife, Stephanie, live in Norwich with their two children, Kate and Drew. Philip has served as the chair of the board of the Montshire Museum of Science. He’s also served on the boards of the Hanover Co-op Food Stores, Hanover Rotary Club, and The Howe Library. In his spare time, Philip enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer, basketball, and baseball teams.
