Pete and Philip McCaull co-founded an independent advisory firm affiliated with Commonwealth in August 2017. Prior to starting their own firm, Pete and Philip spent nearly 17 years working in partnership as financial advisors for A.G. Edwards, Wachovia Securities, and Wells Fargo Advisors.
Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Pete was a director for a Boston-based technology consulting firm, where he was responsible for merger and acquisition strategy. Pete also has experience as a financial analyst for a boutique investment bank, advising companies on initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary equity offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Pete earned a BA at Dartmouth College and currently lives in Norwich with his wife, Justine, and their three children, Hailey, Noah, and Zander. Pete is the former chair and current member of the Friends of Dartmouth Lacrosse Advisory Board. Over the past 14 years, Pete has been a volunteer youth coach for various sports, including lacrosse, basketball, and skiing. When not working or coaching, Pete is passionate about the outdoors, spending most of his free time mountain biking, skiing, and fly fishing.

Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Philip was a consultant with Cambridge Associates in Boston, providing investment consulting services primarily to college endowments and philanthropic foundations. Philip also has experience as a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting Group. Early in his career, Philip founded an award-winning nonprofit organization called “Hands On Memphis,” which provided direct, “hands-on” volunteer services to nonprofit organizations in his hometown.
Philip earned a BA at Dartmouth College and an MBA at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. Philip and his wife, Stephanie, live in Norwich with their two children, Kate and Drew. Philip has served as the chair of the board of the Montshire Museum of Science. He’s also served on the boards of the Hanover Co-op Food Stores, Hanover Rotary Club, and The Howe Library. In his spare time, Philip enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer, basketball, and baseball teams.

Jennifer joins the team with over 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry. She began her career on the default side of the mortgage industry where she focused on compliance and vendor management. She managed a department of more than twenty staff and was responsible for over 2,000 independent subcontractors. She was most recently with Title Mortgage Solution where she obtained her Mortgage Loan Officers License and supported three Loan Officers to ensure a high level of customer service was met. She acted in varying capacities during her time at Title Mortgage including creating standard operating procedures as well as system improvements that increased efficiencies throughout the company.
Jen lives in Cornish, New Hampshire, with her husband Zack and their two sons, Jaxson and Julian. Jen has a passion for fitness and nutrition. She enjoys watching her boys play soccer, home improvement projects with her husband and has recently found her love of gardening.
